This is a social event that recently was organised by a group in Mumbai. Using painting as a medium a social awareness was created and brought to light on how our slums in Mumbai can be beautified using colours.

A world without colours is a sad place to be in. Life can be tough, challenging. What is the least I can do? And I decided to colour. Colour the community, colour the hill, colour the entire area. Colour has the power to create change. Some would say what difference can a colour make? I believe it gives them a sense of joy, an identity and hope that things are going to be okay. Small changes together can make a huge impact.
